*TOOOOOOOOOOOOOT*
Sensuàl plays a special concert on the 22nd of May in Breda. Together with Daan Bogers we set up a Brass section, consisting of Mete Erker (Saxes), Daan Bogers (Trumpet) and Bart Lust (Trombone). Daan Worked day and night on the arrangements, and it's promising! I can tell you that. Also for this special occasion we have the talented drummer Mark Schilders to jazz up the Brazilian Grooves...

'Mi gusta Indonesia' - Part 1
‘Mi gusta Indonesia’ - Part 1
Hello everybody!
It has been a while but we are back with our feet on the ground again. Sensuàl toured Java, Indonesia, where we received the warmest welcome.
We were invited by the Java Jazz Festival and the Erasmushuis in Jakarta to come to Indonesia.
Our trip started on Monday the 2nd of March when we took off from Schiphol Airport – passing Kuala-Lumpur – to Jakarta. After a 14 hour flight we arrived in Jakarta on Tuesday the 3rd of March were we were greeted by our cheerfully tour manager from the Erasmushuis ‘Bob Wardhana’. Bob was all excited seeing us and vice-versa, the tone for our trip was set!
We stayed overnight in Jakarta to leave again early in the morning on the 4th of March to fly to Yogyakarta where we would play our first concert at the Atma Jaya University. We had no idea what to expect from the Indonesian audience. We thought they’d might be a bit shy and reserved but oh, we were so wrong! The crowd went wild. We’ve never given so many autographs, smiled at so many lenses and felt so loved. The security even had to take Emiel backstage, for his own safety : ).
Early the next morning on the 5th of March, after a good night of sleep and a plate full of Indonesian nasi as breakfast, we left by car to Solo. Here we would play our 2nd concert at the ‘Gedung Theater Besar University’. We made a stop to check out the beautiful Hindu temple ‘Prambanan’. After stretching our legs we had a traditional Indonesian 'sit-down' dinner where we were spoiled with fresh coconutmilk and more delicious things. We arrived at the venue were we meet a giant crew of technicians who were all very willing to help us. They only little problem was, they didn’t speak a word of English. With hands and feet and strange facial expressions we finally managed to get everything working. The concert was well received even though Eva had a minor heart attack after spotting a little pink scorpion during the concert that was walking circles around Tim’s drum kit and spotting Rik’s bare feet on stage. We survived and enjoyed another day in Indonesia. Mi gusta!!
